I have always had a problem with fluid retention no matter how much water I drink. I need a natural diuretic.
I have always had a problem with fluid retention. I have tried drinking the water that everyone advises and it just makes it worse. Is there a natural diuretic or something such as cranberry tablets that I can take that will really work rapidly? I probably drink enough liquids for 5 but nothing seems to help.
Chosen Answer:
Try coffee, green tea, asparagus, fresh mushrooms, cabbage, watermelon, cranberry. Also be very careful with your sodium (salt) intake. Sodium makes your body retain fluids. Its in all prepared foods, most restraunt meals, canned foods, bullion, soups, pickles and most condiments such as soy sauce, ketchup, mustard. Cutting back on your salt intake and eating some of the natural diuretics will help signicantly. Start reading labels when you shop to find which foods are truely low in sodium. Good luck.

Try eating/drinking something with caffiene. Caffinated soda is a good solution.

You need to limit your sodium intake, and drink cranberry juice, water, good green tea, and take vitamin C 500mg daily, it all helps in maintaining good bladder function.

Watch how much salt you are eating.I have to watch that myself very close or I’ll feel horrible.
