   Lasix is a diuretic. It gets rid of circulating fluid. This reduces the amount of work the heart has to do to circulate blood around the body.

   It is used in the management of heart failure, renal failure and fluid overload.

   Lasik get’s rid of excess water retention and frequent bouts of water retention of this nature is an early sign of heart disease

   I have CHF and lasix drains the fluid from my heart and lungs sometimes I take the medication 2times a day because I would swell up and cant breathe
