Is there a point to limit the lasix (mg) and take a different diarhetic, ie Aldactone?

Too much Lasix can cause kidney damage, but other diarhetics do not have such a profound effect. In the Philippines, my doctor was degeed in America, 40 mg was the maximum dosage.
